Pause Policy & Rules

Our subscription model is built to provide dedicated, senior-level design capacity while giving your team the flexibility to match real-world development timelines. To ensure predictable project continuity and fair scheduling for all clients, the following terms govern subscription pauses.

1. How Billing & Day Tracking Works

  • 31-Day Billing Cycle: Each subscription cycle consists of 31 active days.
  • Exact Day Accrual: When you initiate a pause, the system calculates the number of calendar days used up to that date. The remaining days are banked in your account.
  • Renewal Date Adjustment: When you reactivate, your next renewal date shifts automatically to reflect the banked days, ensuring you are never billed until all prepaid days are fully consumed.

2. Pausing Rules & Project Scope

  • Immediate Work Freeze: Pausing your subscription halts all active work, open deliverables, and queued design requests immediately upon confirmation.
  • Delivery of In-Progress Files: Any files, CAD models, or deliverables completed up to the date of the pause will be packaged and made accessible in your project repository. Unfinished milestones will be resumed upon reactivation.
  • Minimum Sprint Period: To maintain focused sprint momentum, each active period requires a minimum of 7 active days before a pause can be requested. Subscriptions cannot be paused and resumed on a day-to-day basis.

3. Reactivation & Scheduling

  • Reactivation Notice: You can reactivate your subscription at any time directly through your client dashboard. Work on your queued requests will resume within 1 to 2 business days following reactivation.
  • Capacity & Ramping: While your banked days are fully guaranteed, studio capacity is managed on an active-client basis. If studio capacity is temporarily full upon reactivation, you will receive priority placement in the queue, and your banked days will not start counting down until work officially re-commences.

4. Validity & Expiration

  • 90-Day Redemption Window: Paused, banked days remain valid for 90 consecutive calendar days from the date the pause is confirmed.
  • Forfeiture: If a paused subscription is not reactivated within 90 days, remaining banked days expire, and the subscription will close without refund.
  • Non-Transferable: Banked subscription days cannot be transferred to third parties or applied across different service tiers or separate entities.

5. Cancellations vs. Pauses

  • Pausing: Holds your remaining paid days for future use under the conditions above without terminating your account.
  • Canceling: Discontinues your recurring billing agreement entirely. Any remaining days in an active billing period will run to the end of the 31-day cycle, after which access to active services closes. Prepaid periods are non-refundable.
