Culligan Purity
As the lead industrial designer at Ammunition, I led the physical product vision for Culligan Purity—a flagship line of connected, bottle-free water systems for modern workplaces. My goal was to move beyond the traditional water cooler and create a calm, architectural presence that visibly reflects advanced purification. Designed across three tiers (Essential, Advanced, and Prime) on a shared chassis, the system establishes Culligan’s new global Visual Brand Language while delivering intuitive ergonomics for users, installers, and service technicians alike.
Key Contributions:
Scalable Modular Platform: Designed a shared internal chassis and modular external panel system across three tiers, reducing tooling complexity while allowing the line to adapt seamlessly to diverse workplace environments and regional market needs.
Inclusive, User-Centric Ergonomics: Directed physical prototyping and ergonomic studies to optimize dispense alcove dimensions, reach angles, and clearance—ensuring effortless, ADA-compliant accessibility for daily users as well as fast, tool-free access for field technicians during routine filter changes.
Strategic Aesthetics & Brand Identity: Defined Culligan’s next-generation Visual Brand Language through clean, intersecting geometric volumes and soft circular dispense details, translating complex filtration engineering into an approachable, high-trust presence.
